I have looked through 7A numbers from the State Department so far.
These are *TENTATIVE* numbers. There could be a mistype in the data, and, of course, it does not account for any private school enrollment numbers.

Moving DOWN to 6A:
Chelsea
Austin
Percy Julian (formerly R.E. Lee)

Moving UP to 7A:
Robertsdale
Hillcrest-Tuscaloosa
Hazel Green

Clay-Chalkville is the largest 6A school. There is a 13-student difference between Hazel Green (smallest 7A) and Clay-Chalkville.

I plan to keep looking through it. It may take me a while to see which numbers jump out.

I have been playing around with the numbers just for the fun of it. The numbers for the public schools are from the state department website. Private schools are based on what was posted on different school review websites. Take it for what it?s worth, but it?s fun to look at and see how everything plays out

Do you have a hyperlink for that data?

With Carver and Lanier merging, that should push Carver's count well over 1000.

I think it put them between 1200-1300. I cant remember how the state has handed classifying schools that are merging in the past. Also Lafayette and Valley are supposed to be merging soon as well.
