Interesting hire. Great playing experience that may energize the student population. But Columbia's geographical challenges make it a near unwinnable location. Most of the kids don't live near the school, which means the participation level is much lower than the average 6A school.
Add in the new Huntsville city annexation of land to the west towards I65, and it's very likely Columbia will grow to a 7A school unless another High School is built. |
