My best game for this week in 7A

Auburn at Opelika ( Auburn is ticked off after the blowout loss last week. Look for them to play hungry and aggressive this week on the road)

Dothan at Enterprise ( game will probably be decided in the last two possessions)

Hillcrest at Hoover( this game is a measuring stick for Hillcrest to see if they have adjusted to 7A football and can compete with the elite teams)

James Clemens at Bob Jones( early season game will see where both of these programs are at this year and see if they can actually compete with Birmingham schools come playoff time.)

Vestavia Hills at Hewitt Trussville(Vestavia Hills gets to prove or disprove this week if they are a serious contender or just played a great 1 game)

Hillcrest vs Hoover is interesting. I think Hillcrest may be a little misled because they beat two 7A teams already. But 7A-R4 is more like Birmingham 6A (maybe even 5A).

Speaking of 7A-R4, James Clemens may have beaten Gardendale, but Gardendale just got murdered by Parker (Yes, Parker is amazing). Meanwhile, Bob Jones has won 2 games, but neither were as dominating as they should have been. I think Bob Jones surprises, but neither team - or anyone in 7A-R4 - has a chance to go deep in the playoffs.
