| Outlook: The Banks Academy Jets are a relatively new football program having just fielded a varsity squad for a total of five season. None the less they have become a winning program and came within one victory last year of claiming their first ever state championship in the AISA. |
| This year they move up to the AAA classification in the AISA so it may be a little more difficult for them in 2024. The Jets return six starters from last year's team to the offense and six on defense so there will be a lot of experience on both side of the football when they take the field in late August. |

| Outlook: The Eagles of Fort Dale Academy enjoyed their best season since 2010 with a 9-3 record last year. They will be out to at least match or improve on that showing when the season opens against Crenshaw Christian on August 23rd. |
| The Eagles will return six starters on offense and seven to the defense in 2024. |
| Coach Folmar told us. ''We've got a lot to replace from the class of 2024 but we like the group we've got. We won't be as deep as we were a year ago but we still have a lot of experience with this group of seniors, many of which have started since 9th grade. The offensive line will be the strength on that side of the ball with 3 returning starters. We hope to be able to lean on our defense more this year than we have the last couple of years.'' |
