 2016 Preview 


       New Life Christian completed the 2015 season with a 5-4 record.

       The Eagles improved in 2015 with their first winning season since 2010.

       Since 2010, New Life Christian has gone a combined 17-33. Their 34.0% winning percentage ranks 11th in Class 8 Man over the past six seasons.

       Over the past 25 seasons, New Life Christian has managed to compile a record of 81-75. Their 52.0% winning percentage ranks 8th in Class 8 Man and 10th in the .

       The Eagles are led by head coach Jason Owens who is entering his tenth season at the helm. He has compiled a record of 30-47 over the past nine seasons at New Life Christian. Under his direction the Eagles have qualified for the playoffs a total of four times. They have not won a region crown with Coach Owens.

       Coach Owens' overall record as a head football coach in nine season stands at 30-47 (39.0%).

       The New Life Christian Eagles will play in Class 8 Man region two during the 2016 season.

      

       The Eagles open the 2016 season at home against non-region opponent Westminster Christian on Friday, August 19. Last year the Westminster Christian Wildcats finished with an overall record of 5-5 and in sixth place in Class 4A region seven. The Wildcats ended last season on a positive note with a win over New Hope by a score of 21-7 after failing to gain a playoff spot.

       This will be the first meeting between New Life Christian and Westminster Christian on the football field.
