 2016 Preview 


       Tuscaloosa Christian completed the 2015 season with a 9-2 record. With their 5-1 region record and a second place finish in Class 8 Man region two, the Warriors earned a spot in the playoffs in 2015.

       No team at Tuscaloosa Christian ever won more games in a season than the nine victories last year. The 469 points scored by the Warriors last year were a team record in a single season.

       Since 2010, Tuscaloosa Christian has gone a combined 44-20. Their 69.0% winning percentage ranks 3rd in Class 8 Man over the past six seasons.

       Over the past 25 seasons, Tuscaloosa Christian has managed to compile a record of 107-69. Their 61.0% winning percentage ranks 4th in Class 8 Man and 5th in the .

       The Warriors are led by head coach David Arsenault who is entering his fourth season at the helm. He has compiled a record of 25-10 over the past three seasons at Tuscaloosa Christian. Under his direction the Warriors have qualified for the playoffs a total of three times. They have not won a region crown with Coach Arsenault. Coach Arsenault has won two state championships at Tuscaloosa Christian, the last coming in 2015.

       Coach Arsenault's overall record as a head football coach in three season stands at 25-10 (71.4%).

       The Tuscaloosa Christian Warriors will play in Class 8 Man region two during the 2016 season.

       The Warriors enter the 2016 season riding a 6 game winning streak.

      

       The Warriors open the 2016 season at home against non-region opponent Autauga Academy on Friday, August 26. Last year the Autauga Academy Generals finished with an overall record of 7-5 and in second place in Class AAA region one. The Generals lost in the semi-finals round of the Class AAA playoffs to Bessemer Academy by a score of 45-7.

       This will be the first meeting between Tuscaloosa Christian and Autauga Academy on the football field.
