 2017 Preview 


       Ezekiel Academy completed the 2016 season with a 4-3 record.

      

       Ezekiel Academy is a relatively new football program having fielded a team only four seasons. They have managed a record of 20-18 over the past four years.

       The Knights are led by head coach Dale Munroe who is entering his fifth season at the helm. He has compiled a record of 20-18 over the past four seasons at Ezekiel Academy. Under his direction the Knights have qualified for the playoffs a total of two times. They have not won a region crown with Coach .

       Coach 's overall record as a head football coach in eight season stands at 36-38 (48.6%). Over the course of his career, Coach 's teams have qualified for the playoffs a total of three times .

       The Ezekiel Academy Knights will play in Class 8 Man region one during the 2017 season.

       Region one will be one of the most competitive regions in any classification this season.

       The Knights open the 2017 season on the road against non-region opponent Southern Choctaw on Friday, September 1 at The Reservation. Last year the Southern Choctaw Indians finished with an overall record of 10-2 and in first place in Class 2A region one. The Indians lost in the quarter-finals round of the Class 2A playoffs to G.W. Long by a score of 42-14.

       This will be the first meeting between Ezekiel Academy and Southern Choctaw on the football field.
