The Tuscaloosa County Wildcats will play in Class 7A region three during the 2017 season. The Wildcats have one of the toughest schedules in Class 7A. Their opponents had a combined record of 63-47 last season. That ranks 9th in Class 7A and 42nd in the AHSAA. The Wildcats enter the 2017 season in the middle of a 8 game losing streak. They would like nothing better than to end the string of losses early in the season. This season, the Wildcats will be a long shot for one of the four playoff spots in region three. The Wildcats open the 2017 season at home against non-region opponent Paul Bryant on Friday, August 25 at Wildcat Field. Last year the Paul Bryant Stampede finished with an overall record of 4-7 and in fourth place in Class 6A region four.
