 2024 Preview 


       Chambers Academy completed the 2023 season with a 12-1 record. Last year Chambers Academy captured the region one title and a number one seed in the Class AA playoffs. They finished region play with a 4-0 record. The Chambers Academy Rebels claimed the AISA-AA State Championship by defeating Banks Academy 41-14 in Troy.

       Since 2010, Chambers Academy has gone a combined 122-46. Their 72.6% winning percentage ranks 2nd in Class AAA over the past fourteen seasons.

       Over the past 25 seasons, Chambers Academy has managed to compile a record of 175-115. Their 60.0% winning percentage ranks 5th in Class AAA and 7th in the AISA.

Graduated All-State Players:
       The Rebels lost a ton of talent to graduation off the 2023 squad. Replacing these players will be a key to another successful season. Chambers Academy lost AISA All-State  receiver Koreen Henry to graduation. He was named to the first team last season. Also graduating were teammates defensive lineman Ryan Smith., offensive lineman Blake Reaves, defensive lineman Austin Brooks and defensive back Kyle Hand.

Head Coach:
       The Rebels are led by head coach Jason Allen who is entering his twentieth season at the helm. He has compiled a record of 158-69 over the past nineteen seasons at Chambers Academy. Under his direction the Rebels have qualified for the playoffs a total of sixteen times. They have won eleven region crowns with Coach Allen. Coach Allen has won three state championships at Chambers Academy, the last coming in 2023. His 179 wins rank 4th among active coaches in the AISA. Over the course of his career, Coach Allen's teams have qualified for the playoffs a total of nineteen times and won eleven region championships.

Season Outlook:

       The Chambers Academy Rebels will play in Class AAA region one during the 2024 season. The Rebels move up in classification to Class AAA. They may find the going slightly tougher with the move.

      

       The Rebels enter the 2024 season riding a 12 game winning streak. They have also won 9 consecutive regular season games. Chambers Academy has won 17 consecutive region games. They have won 7 straight games on their home turf at Torbert-Allen Field.

      

    While most teams rebuild during the off season, Chambers Academy has been a consistent winner the past few years and will simply reload this season.

    The Rebels enter the season with expectations of not only a region crown but will be contending for a trip to the state championship game. They are considered one of the favorites not only in their region but to play in the AISA title game in November. The Rebels have succeeded in reaching the playoffs every year since 2012 and this year should be no exception.

Season Opener:
       The Rebels open the 2024 season at home against non-region opponent Starkville Academy MS on Friday, August 23 at Torbert-Allen Field.

       This will be the second meeting between Chambers Academy and Starkville Academy MS on the football field. The Rebels have a 0-1-0 record against Starkville Academy MS. They last met in with
