The much anticipated 2013 season got underway over the weekend. Here are a few tidbits from the first week of high school football action.
* Brantley lost to Luverne 33-19 on Thursday night
to end their 15 game winning streak. Hoover with a 15 game winning streak which leads the
AHSAA school. Edgewood Academy leads the AISA school with a 34 game winning
streak after defeating Hooper Academy last week and Evangel Christian this week.
