| ASWA High School Football Poll | | Week 6 -- Wednesday, October 4, 2023 | Only a few changes this week in the ASWA polls as most teams played non-region opponents. Gulf Shores did jump to the top of 5A for the first time in school history this week.
Scottsboro also in 5A is ranked for the first time since the 2016 football season. Corner the #8 team in 4A is ranked as high as they have been since 1996. Lastly, Locust Fork is ranked (#10) for the first time in 2A since the 1998 season.
