Ben Blackmon
Blackmon, a former Troy University quarterback, studied pre-medicine at Troy and earned a masters in education leadership at Auburn. He graduated from Robert E. Lee High in Montgomery. He spent five years as an Opelika assistant from 2001 to 2006.
In 2007 he accepted the head coaching job at Greenville where in four seasons his teams finished 31-14 and made the playoffs each season. He moved on to Gulf Shores in 2011 for another four seasons with the Dolphins and a record of 21-20.
Coach Blackmon took over the football program at Spanish Fort in 2015 where his teams finished 77-18 in seven successful seasons making the playoffs each year and playing for a state championship in 2019 and 2020.
After leaving the Toros he landed at Enterprise in 2022 to lead the Wildcats football program.
