Auburn Tigers
Tim Carter
The son of a coach, Tim Carter graduated from Monroe Academy and returned as head coach in 1994. Carter received his Bachelors from Auburn University and his Masters from Troy University.
Following graduation, he served as an assistant coach at Central-Phenix City, Daphne and Russell County. In 1994 he became the head football coach at Monroe Academy where he remained through the 1997 season. His teams went a combined 14-28 in four years.
Coach Carter moved to Auburn High School as an assistant on Dwight Jones staff in 2001. He became head coach in 2006 and has led the Tigers to ten straight playoff appearances including a Super Six appearance in 2013.
Following the 2014 season, Coach Carter stepped down as the head football coach at Auburn. He accepted the head coaching duties at Fairhope shortly thereafter. His overall record as a head coach stands at 155-92 in 22 seasons.
