2012 Coaching Changes

The 2012 season will be different for at least 107 high school football teams when new coaches take the field for each of them. Some of the coaches will prove to great hires while others will disappoint many fans by not living up to expectations. As fans let us remember that each of these coaches wishes to win more than any single fan in the stands on Friday night. They will put in an extraordinary amount of time and effort to mold their team into what they believe will be a contender this season. Even more so they will mold their players into young men willing to fight for their school each and every week.

Time will tell which of these men will be considered great coaches over the coming seasons. Great coaches should not be remembered for wins and losses but by the young men they produce and the affects they have on the lives of their players. The respect of fellow coaches and players is a far greater measure of being considered a great coach than mere wins and losses.

Here is our list of coaching changes for the coming season with the school, former coach and current coach listed. If we missed any email me at dparker@ahsfhs.org. Good luck to each of these men this season and in future seasons.
