2012
Season Opening Game Winning Streaks Which high school football team in Alabama has won the most consecutive season openers going into the 2012 season? Well, the answer to that question would be the Enterprise Wildcats with a streak of fifteen consecutive victories. The Wildcats have not lost a season opener since opening the 1996 season with a 13-21 lose to Bay High School in Panama City, Florida. Enterprise has not lost a season opener to a school from Alabama since 1991 when they fell to Gadsden 0-26. The Wildcats hope to extend that streak on August 31, 2012 when they entertain the Smith Stations team in their opener on their home field. Following the Wildcats are the Davidson Warrior with an almost equally impressive fourteen game winning streak in season openers dating back to a 1997 lose to Daphne 5-24. The Warriors will open the 2012 season at Prichard Stadium against the always tough Vigor Wolves. Other teams with season opening winning streaks of at least ten games are list below followed by the streak by Enterprise.
