Week 3

The 2012 season has seen three weeks of action come and go. Here are a few tidbits from this past weekend's action.

  
   *  Dadeville currently holds on to the top spot with a streak of twenty-two consecutive games won on their home turf.

   *  Dadeville and Tanner continue to share the lead with twenty-nine game regular season winning streaks. Maplesville deserves recognition with a streak of twenty-seven wins during the regular season.

   *  Jackson and Hartselle share a streak of eighteen consecutive wins to lead all Alabama high school football teams.

   *   Central Hayneville continues to top our list with forty-four consecutive losses.

   *   Cold Springs has lost thirty-four straight region games.

   *   The T.R. Miller Tigers have scored in 320 consecutive games.

   *  Deshler lost to Lauderdale County 7-21 to relinquish the lead for consecutive region wins. Bibb County with a 27 game streak is now the leader.



Note: The new schools will not be included in team records because of the obvious reasons.

* Jemison set a team record for points scored in a game by defeating Carbon Hill 69-8.
* Beauregard set a team record for points scored in a game by defeating Bullock County 69-16.
* Spanish Fort set a team record for points scored in a game by defeating Gulf Shores 56-7.
* Walter Wellborn set a team record for points scored in a game by defeating Victory Christian 73-0.


Points allowed in a game

* Jeff Davis set a team record for points allowed in a game by losing to Carver Montgomery 0-70.
* Victory Christian set a team record for points allowed in a game by losing to Walter Wellborn 0-73.


Margin of Victory game

* Spanish Fort set a team record for margin of victory by defeating Gulf Shores 56-7.
* Walter Wellborn set a team record for margin of victory by defeating Victory Christian 73-0.


Margin of Defeat game

* Jeff Davis set a team record for margin of defeat in a game by losing to Carver Montgomery 0-70.
* Victory Christian set a team record for margin of defeat in a game by losing to Walter Wellborn 0-73.


Points Scored by Both Teams in a Game

* R.A. Hubbard set a team record for points scored by both teams in a game by defeating Phillips Bear Creek 60-50.
* Alma Bryant set a team record for points scored by both teams in a game by losing to Blount 35-49.


Points Scored by Both Teams in a Game

* Locust Fork set a team record for points scored by both teams in a game by losing to Sardis 48-68.
* Sardis set a team record for points scored by both teams in a game by defeating Locust Fork 68-48.
* Spanish Fort set a team record for points scored by both teams in a game by defeating B.C. Rain 50-30.
* Sumter Central set a team record for points scored by both teams in a game by losing to Saraland 26-49.
