The 2014 season began this past weekend. Here are a few tidbits from the first week of action. * Hoover saw their 30 game winning streak go down to Central of Miami FL. Madison Academy also lost and ended their steak of 25 consecutive victories. The now leader for consecutive wins is Spanish Fort with a string of 25 straight.
* Edgewood Academy leads the AISA school with a
45 game winning streak. Coach Bobby Carr will be gunning for a fifth consecutive
championship when they open the season this Friday night.
