Consecutive Winning Seasons

Among the goals of every team each season would be to complete the year with a winning record. Along those lines, which team has compiled the most consecutive winning seasons? The answer may surprise you.
The Oneonta Redskins put together a streak of thirty-two straight seasons of winning more games than they lost. The streak began in 1958 under the guidance of head coach Bill Hawkins and continued through the 1994 season under the leadership of coach Maurice Carkuff. Other coaches in the middle included Hugh O'Shields, Jerry Elmore and Robert Herring. Not a bad list of Hall of Fames coaches.
Three teams have current streaks of at least twenty consecutive winning seasons. Gordo leads the current teams with a string of twenty-two straight followed by Cullman and Demopolis with twenty each. Last year saw Vestavia Hills (22) and Trinity (32) end long streaks by finishing the season with losing records.
One thing I noticed while doing this research was that the streaks are scattered throughout the past 100 years with no pattern emerging for one single era. Below is a list of every team with a streak of at least twenty consecutive winning seasons.

On the other end of the spectrum, Bullock County has struggled mightily over the past few decades to put together a winning team. Since 1972, over the course of 43 seasons, the Bullock County football team has failed to enjoy a single season where they won more games than they lost. The brightest spots were in 1996-1997 when the team finished with identical 5-5 records.
Below is a list of the teams with the most consecutive losing seasons. That would be a streak of years where they lost more games than the team won. With a 6-5 record last year, R.C. Hatch put together their first winning season according to our records since 1970. They did finish 5-5 in 2011 to break the longest streak in history.
