Recently I received another notebook from Bill Plott with scores, coaches and dates for the schools in the southeast corner of the state. There were 52 teams in the notebook and it took a while to get through all of them. All told, we added just over 1,100 scores to the database and countless coaches and game dates for these teams.

The teams we were able to finish back through the 1950 season included; Ariton, Ashford, Dale County, G.W. Long, Geneva County, Georgiana, Headland, Luverne, Newville, Rehobeth and Zion Chapel. While we were not missing many scores for any of these teams, it is great to be able to complete them back to 1950.

All the other teams from this section of the state are very near completion for this time period.

Two teams joined the 500 win club with this update. Andalusia has a won/lost record of 536-377-38. Opp joins the club with a record of 518-379-20. Charles Henderson is very close with 497 victories.

Once again, we want to thank Mr. Plott for assisting us in our endeavor to find all the coaches and scores to the football games across the state. I spent a few days in this corner of the state researching these teams and would still need a lot more work if not for the efforts on our friend.
