* Maplesville has the state's longest winning
streak at 25 games following a 50-18 thrashing of Notasulga. Team approaching the 500 win club Points scored in a game * St. Lukes set a team record in a win 57-12 over Luverne breaking the previous record set in a victory over Cottage Hill Christian 56-21 on 11/2/2012. Points allowed in a game * Glencoe set a team record in a 61-14 loss to Piedmont breaking the previous record set in a loss to Collinsville 55-0 on 1922. Margin of Victory in a game * Austin set a team record by defeating Decatur 49-0 breaking the previous record set when they defeated Brewer 55-7 on 11/2/1979. Teams with current school record winning streaks * Maplesville has won a team record 25 consecutive games since 10/2/2015. * Fyffe has won a team record 17 consecutive games since 8/26/2016. Teams with current school record losing streaks * Barbour County has lost a team record 33 consecutive games since 10/25/2013. * Center Point has lost a team record 20 consecutive games since 9/18/2015. * Ellwood Christian has lost a team record 19 consecutive games since 9/17/2015. * White Plains has lost a team record 17 consecutive games since 10/2/2015. * Columbia has lost a team record 14 consecutive games since 10/23/2015. * Houston Academy has lost a team record 12 consecutive games since 8/26/2016. * Asbury has lost a team record 12 consecutive games since 8/25/2016. * Valley has lost a team record 11 consecutive games since 9/2/2016. * Sumter Central has lost a team record 10 consecutive games since 9/9/2016. * Northside Methodist Academy has lost a team record 6 consecutive games since 10/21/2016. Teams that set a record for most wins in a season * Mars Hill set a team record with a 2-1 record. That ties the previous mark of 2-8-0 in 2015. The Tuscaloosa Black Bears were considered one of the best programs in the nation from 1925-1931. Their record over that span was an amazing 61-0-3.
