The Alabama Sports Writers Association have released their rankings for this week.

Week 9 -- Oct. 24, 2018
Jackson-Olin is the #8 team in class 6A this week, the highest they have been ranked since the 1997 season. Undefeated Westminster Christian is also ranked higher than they have ever been as the #7 team in 3A.

Randolph County jumps back to the top spot in Class 3A after defeating previous #1 Saks last week.

Collinsville completed the 1931 season with a record of 1-4-5. The five ties will forever be a state record since all games are now decided by overtime.
