Sports Writers Association have released their rankings for the this week.
| ASWA High School Football Poll | | Week 10 -- Oct. 29, 2019 | McGill-Toolen is the top ranked team in 7A this week for the first time in three years after Thompson lost last week to Hewitt-Trussville. Helena is the #7 team in 6A and that is the highest they have ever been ranked in the schools short history.
Lincoln comes in as the #8 team in class 4A and that is the teams highest ranking in eleven seasons.
