Sports Writers Association have released their rankings for the 2021 Season.
| ASWA High School Football Poll | | Week 4 -- Sept. 15, 2021 | Handley moves to the top spot in 4A after Gordo lost over the weekend. McAdory moves into the #8 spot in 6A and that is the highest they have been ranked since the 2015 football season.
Central Florence is ranked for the first time since 1998 as they are the #10 team in 4A. Lastly, Sand Rock, #7 in Class 2A, are ranked the highest they have been since 2008.
