During the season we update season records each week with the leaders in each
category. I think most fans are interested in such things as
the longest winning and losing streaks and every other interesting fact we can come up with. Below are the records we keep track of during the season expanded to add the teams that are near the record should the leader falter once the season begins. As the season progresses, we will keep the fans informed on the homepage and in the 'Tidbits and Records' section produced each week. | ||

Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History
Luverne 'Toad' Wise was the first female football player in Alabama and may have been the first in the country. She was a kicker for the Escambia County Blue Devils in 1939-40.
