Vestavia Hills names Patrick Davis the next head coach. He was previously at Thompson.

Kelly Cheatham has been hired as the new boys basketball coach at Thompson. Cheatham, 49, spent the last 20 years in charge of Ramsay boys basketball. Before his two-decade stint at Ramsay, Cheatham was head coach at Huffman for five seasons.

Leeds hires former Hewitt Trussville coach Zane Arnold as next head coach.
