Research Notes
Resources available for research that we have visited.
- Andalusia - The Library has many yearbooks and the newspaper on microfilm.
- Atmore- Not much at the library but the newspaper has hardbound copies of the paper back into the 1910s
- Bay Minette - The library has copies of the newspaper on microfilm.
- Birmingham - The library has copies of the newspaper on microfilm and a ton of yearbooks.
- Brewton - The newspaper has hardbound copies of the newspaper and Jefferson Davis JC has a research room with microfilm of area newspapers.
- Chatom - The Library has a lot of yearbooks. The courthouse has hardbound copies of the newspaper back into the 1920s but missing years in the 1920s & 30s.
- Citronelle - Not much at the Library but the Newspaper across the street has some hardbound newspapers available back into the 1950s.
- Daleville - The library has most of the yearbooks. No Newspapers.
- Dothan - The Library has a lot of yearbooks and the newspaper on microfilm.
- Fairhope - The library has copies of the newspaper on microfilm.
- Foley - The library has copies of the newspaper on microfilm.
- Flomaton - The library has hardbound copies of the newspaper back to 1978 and the actual newspaper has copies back a few more years.
- Florala - The Library has hardbound copies of the newspaper back to 1961 and plenty of yearbooks.
- Geneva - The Library has the newspaper on microfilm.
- Greenville - The courthouse has hardbound copies of the Greenville and Georgiana newspapers
- Grove Hill - The Library has the Newspaper on microfilm back into the 1920s.
- Grove Hill - I understand the Courthouse has hardbound copies of the Jackson, Thomasville and Grove Hill Newspapers.
- Hartford - The Library has hardbound copies of the newspaper most years back to 1962 and a few yearbooks for Geneva County.
- Jackson - The Library has the newspaper on microfilm.
- Luverne - The Library has a lot of yearbooks but no newspapers.
- Mobile - The Research building has microfilm for the Mobile papers back to the beginning. Also a lot of local yearbooks.
- Mobile - The USA Library has microfilm of the B'ham Newspapers 1961-65 and 1976-2009
- Thomasville - The Times has hardbound copies of the newspapers available.

- Smalltownpapers.com is a good source for a few weekly newspapers around the state.
- Texashsfootball.com keeps track of National programs about as well as anyone.

- Hayden High School yearbooks.
- NFL Players Database - A great source to find every NFL Player.
- High School National Champs
- GHSFHA.org is doing the same thing we are in Georgia.
- Dental Clinic Games
- Public Libraries in Alabama.
- Rison-Dallas & Huntsville Sports from long ago.
- Sportsquotes is a good site to find famous football quotes.
