Game: Played Friday November 28, 1969 at Sylacauga
Summary: Randy Billingsley would lead the Aggies
by scoring three touchdowns on a 17 yard run and a couple of
five yard runs. Ken McClain, the Aggie quarterback, would score
twice on one yard quarterback sneaks to add to the scoring.
Robertsdale's Golden Bears were led at quarterback by David
Stapleton who got in on the action with a second quarter 20 yard
run to cut the halftime lead to 18-7.
Sylacauga would tack on
two more third quarter scores and the two teams traded
touchdowns in the final stanza.
Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History
In 1925 Langdale tied a record by defeating Milltown 125-0. Hamilton had set the record by thrashing Fayette 125-0 in 1915.
