Game: Played Friday December 7, 1984 at Warriors Stadium, Centre
 
Summary:
          T.R. Miller converted two fourth-down plays in the final two minutes to capture a come from behind victory over Cherokee County. The Indians controlled the first half and led 12-0 at intermission.
          Miller took the second half kickoff and used a 12-play 77 yard drive to close the gap to 12-7. The Indians answered following a Miller fumble to score in three plays from 51 yards out to take a 18-7 lead after three periods.
          The Tigers fought back with a 79 yard, three play drive to pull within 18-13 on Joseph Williams 20 yard run early in the final stanza. Following a Cherokee County punt, Miller took over on their 15-yard line and set out on a game winning drive with 3:05 left in the game.
          It took the Tigers only 2:16 and 11 plays to cover the 85 yards. They scored with just 49 seconds remaining on a fourth down pass from Ken Ladnier to James Weaver for 21 yards.

Foley outscored their opponents 433-6 in 1961. The Lions were named state champions by the Alabama Sports Writers Association that season.
