Game: Played Saturday December 8, 1984 at Legion Field, Birmingham
 
Summary:
          Kevin Turner ran for one touchdown and Chris Turner threw for another as the Prattville Lions won their first ever state championship at Legion Field in Birmingham. Prattville got on the scoreboard first with a one yard run by Kevin Turner with 8:38 left in the opening stanza for a quick 7-0 lead. His 52 yard run to the three set up the score
          The Lions scored again on their next possession when Chris Turner hit Wayne Averhart in an 18-yard scoring pass. Nathan Frank booted a 28-yard field goal with seven seconds remaining in the half for a 17-0 Prattville lead.
          Johnson's only score came following a Freeman Milton interception and set up Johnson on the Prattville 31 yard line. David Cross hit Marillus Allison on a 29 yard pass to the two and four plays later Cross scored on a quarterback sneak to cut the margin to 17-7 with 3:21 left in the third.
         Chris Turner rushed for 93 yards on 20 carries to lead the Lions.
