Summary:
             The battle of unbeatens did not live up the the hype as Cottonwood completely dominated the game in overwhelming Woodland 35-6. Quarterback Scooter McCain ran for three touchdowns and passed for another as Cottonwood won the state title after falling just short the previous three seasons.
             The Bears had run wild through an undefeated regular season in outscoring their opponents 523-124. Once the playoffs began they kept up the pace by winning the five games by outscoring their opponents by a margin of 199-20.
             McCain completed 6 of 8 passes for 134 yards on the night and he scored on runs of 7, 1 and 5 yards for the Bears.
Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

In 1925 Langdale tied a record by defeating Milltown 125-0. Hamilton had set the record by thrashing Fayette 125-0 in 1915.
