Summary:
The Golden Bears won their third straight state championship and eighth state title since 1970 with a good defensive effort and just enough offense to win the game.
On a third and 27 on their first possession Hazlewood would get all the points they would need when Rodney Johnson broke through the line and scored on a 60 yard run. Hazlewood limited Cottonwood to 164 yards for the came to seal the victory.
