Tailback Sherman Williams scored on a 43 yard pass reception and a 55 yard run to lead the Leopards to a 36-24 slugfest at Prichard Stadium.
Williams finished the evening with 168 yards running on 16 carries to end the year with a state record 2,974 yards on 307 carries.
Robert Davis led the Patriots with 26 carries and 271 yards but no touchdowns.
The Blount defense would return two interceptions for touchdowns in the fourth
quarter to seal the victory for the home team.
