Summary:
Josh Caldwell recovered a fumble, intercepted a pass and kicked a 31 yard field goal to lead Elba to a 15-3 win and the 1992 state championship.
Jamie Brockton rushed for 152 yards on 13 carries and scored on a 13 yard run in the first quarter to give the Tigers a 6-0 lead. Both teams finished the year at 13-1 as Lamar County's
made its third trip to the championship game after winning titles in 1967 and 1984.
Elba also won a championship in 1989 under the direction of Mack
Wood.
