Summary:
Clay County won their second state championship in three years and fifth overall by defeating Autaugaville 29-0. The Panthers' defense registered its ninth shutout of the year, including four in five playoff games.
The Panthers did not dominate the offensive statistics in the first half, but they used good field position to grab a 15-0 halftime lead. The defense held up in the second half and the Panthers were crowned champions again with another stingy defensive effort.
