Summary:
         Parrish rallied from a pair of 10-point deficits for the victory. Tony Dixon, the game's MVP, scored two fourth-quarter touchdowns to put Parrish ahead. He finished the game with 116 yards on 15 carries. Parrish fullback Cole Mason also had an outstanding game, picking up 145 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries.
         Dixon scored from a yard out with 3:41 to play to give Parrish a 20-17 victory over American Christian in the 1A state championship game Friday at Legion Field.
         The state championship was the first ever for Parrish, which suffered championship-game losses to Billingsley in 1992 and Brantley in 1998.
Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

In 1925 Langdale tied a record by defeating Milltown 125-0. Hamilton had set the record by thrashing Fayette 125-0 in 1915.
