Austin Hoyt recovered the ball in the end zone it to complete the 64-yard scoring play with 29 seconds left in the half.
The Wildcats weren't done. They recovered an onside kick at the Deshler 38 and McKean found Tommy Trott on a 38-yard scoring pass with 16 seconds left in the half. Trinity led 24-14 after both teams scored four touchdowns in 49 seconds. Neither team scored in the second half and Trinity won their first state championship.
