Summary: In the Super Six title game
the Hoover Bucs once again faced a Daphne team for the fourth time in six seasons.
This time it was all Bucs from the opening kickoff as they blocked two first half punts for touchdowns and led 35-0 at the half on their way to a 56-14 win. Ross Wilson threw for 235 yards and two touchdowns to lead the offense.

Bart Starr received coaching from Kentucky great Babe Parilli his senior season at Sidney Lanier in hopes of joining Bear Bryant at Kentucky. He had to settle for Alabama.
