Cullman completed the 2021 season with a 7-4 record. With their 5-2 region record and a third place finish in Class 6A region eight, the Bearcats earned a spot in the playoffs in 2021. Cullman's season came to an end in the first round of the playoffs when they fell to Jackson-Olin by a score of 22-14. Since 2010, Cullman has gone a combined 82-54. The Bearcats open the 2022 season on the road against non-region opponent Mars Hill on Friday, August 19 at Mars Hill Stadium. Last year the Mars Hill Panthers finished with an overall record of 10-4 and in first place in Class 2A region eight. The Panthers lost in the semi-finals round of the Class 2A playoffs to Cleveland by a score of 21-14. Cullman and Mars Hill have met a total of 4 times on the football field.
