Marion County completed the 2021 season with a 7-4 record. With their 4-3 region record and a fourth place finish in Class 1A region six, the Red Raiders earned a spot in the playoffs in 2021. Marion County's season came to an end in the first round of the playoffs when they fell to Decatur Heritage Christian by a score of 48-28. It marked the first time since the 2018 season that the Red Raiders qualified for the playoffs. Since 2010, Marion County has gone a combined 79-59. They last met in 2021 with Marion County winning by a score of 29-7. Marion County returns 1A All-State Senior defensive back Landon Morrow.
