 2023 Preview 


       McIntosh finished the 2022 season with a disappointing 3-4 record. Last year McIntosh just missed making the playoffs with a fifth place finish in Class 1A region one with a 3-3 region record.

       Since 2010, McIntosh has gone a combined 41-88. Their 31.8% winning percentage ranks 46th in Class 1A over the past thirteen seasons.

       Over the past 25 seasons, McIntosh has not won much with a record of 85-166. Their 34.0% winning percentage ranks 48th in Class 1A and 330th in the AHSAA.




       The Demons are led by head coach Roosevelt Moore who is entering his fourth season at the helm. He has compiled a record of 9-15 over the past three seasons at McIntosh. The Demons have yet to reach the playoffs under his direction. They have not won a region crown with Coach Moore.

       The Demons could find themselves challenging for one of the playoff spots for region one this season with a few breaks and a little improvement. McIntosh has failed to qualify for the playoffs since 2012 but hope to return to the post season this year.

       The Demons open the 2023 season on the road against non-region opponent Satsuma on Friday, August 25 at Copeland Field. Last year the Satsuma Gators finished with an overall record of 1-9 and in seventh place in Class 4A region one. The Gators closed out the regular season with a loss to Chickasaw by a score of 28-21.

       McIntosh and Satsuma have met a total of 2 times on the football field. The Demons have a 0-2-0 record against the Gators. They last met in with
