Graduated All-State Players:
Millry lost 1A All-State  receiver Eli Adams to graduation. He was named to the first team last season. Also graduating was teammate defensive back Jaylen Manuel.

Head Coach:
The Wildcats are led by head coach Shane Hendry who is entering his fourth season at the helm. He has compiled a record of 29-9 over the past three seasons at Millry. Under his direction the Wildcats have qualified for the playoffs a total of three times. They have won one region crown with Coach Hendry.

Season Outlook:

The Millry Wildcats will play in Class 1A region one during the 2024 season.

Could this be the year of the Millry Wildcats? Some fans think it may be. The Wildcats are in the middle of the best run in the school's history the past five seasons winning 47 games.

Millry returns several key players who have been starters for a year or more which could mean they will be ready to challenge Sweet Water and Leroy for that coveted region title in 2024.

The Wildcats should be in contention for a playoff spot in region one this season. Hosting a first round playoff game on their home turf would be an advantage. They have reached the playoffs every year since 2013 and will once again be in the hunt for a spot in 2024.

Returning Starters:
QB Jackson Waite, DE/LB Wesley McIlwain, OL/DL Keleb Bradley, LB/WR Landon Doggette, CB/K Shooter Holyfield, CB/RB Jekel Grayson, OL/DL Holt Hendry, OL/DL John Hutto, OL/DL Braxton Jenkins, DB Johnson Holyfield, WR Jquan Stewart

Season Opener:
The Wildcats open the 2024 season on the road against non-region opponent Citronelle on Friday, August 23 at Memorial Stadium. Last year the Citronelle Wildcats finished with an overall record of 6-4 and in sixth place in Class 5A region one. The Wildcats ended last season on a positive note with a win over Elberta by a score of 35-24 after failing to gain a playoff spot.

Millry and Citronelle have met a total of 7 times on the football field. The Wildcats have a 1-5-1 record against the Wildcats. They last met in 2023 with Citronelle winning by a score of 27-26.
