Coaching Records

Many great coaches have walked the sidelines of football fields around the state over the past 100 years. These men gave of themselves, through time and effort, to ensure fans had something to discuss on Saturday. The list of football coaches is long and difficult to compile. We are going to begin with a list of the football coaches that have won at least 100 games in the state.

Research is being done to complete a list of every head coach to ever wander the sidelines of a high school football field in Alabama. AHSFHS.org members have worked tirelessly on the list and their efforts are showing dividends with over 93% of the coaches found.

If we think of each team and each season they fielded a football team we will need to find over 34,000 coaches.

A breakdown of our efforts through 2/20/2017:
1900-1949   -   74% complete
1950-2017   -   99% complete

Every Coach

Remember, this is not a complete list of every football coach. We have about 83% of the football coaches complete. If you know of a football coach not on this list please inform us. You may email us at: dparker@ahsfhs.org
