High School Boys Swimming

The first organized state championship for the Boys Swimming & Diving was in 1960 with Coffee High capturing that first title. Tuscaloosa would grab the next five championships in a single division.

In 2014 the boys split into two divisions with trophies handed out for 6A/7A and 1A/5A.

Each year the boys meet in hopes of bringing home a blue map by winning a state championship in Swimming & Diving.

ASHFHS.org

Following years of research, in June of 2007 the AHSFHS.org website became a reality. Many people have gotten involved to assist us  with research of the schools and teams to make this a reality.

Other team sports have joined football as a part of our research. Initially AHSFHS.org will include information about coaches, state playoffs, all state teams, player awards and team records.

It is virtually impossible to provide scores for every  game for every team. Who knows, later even that may be a possibility. There is still a lot of work to do with the all state teams of years past but our intentions are to find every team.

We encourage everyone to get involved in helping us provide the most accurate information possible. If you have information that would be useful to us please let us know.
