Good Hope completed the 2021 season with a 9-4 record. With their 5-1 region record and a second place finish in Class 4A region six, the Raiders earned a spot in the playoffs in 2021. Good Hope lost in the quarter-finals of the playoffs last season to a good Madison Academy team by a score of 35-28. The Raiders had some tough luck last season as three of their four losses were by less than eight points. Since 2010, Good Hope has gone a combined 61-69. Their 46.9% winning percentage ranks 35th in Class 4A over the past twelve seasons. Over the past 25 seasons, Good Hope has managed to compile a record of 156-121. Their 56.0% winning percentage ranks 19th in Class 4A and 133rd in the AHSAA. The Raiders are led by head coach Alan Scott who is entering his eighth season at the helm. The Raiders open the 2022 season on the road against non-region opponent West Point on Friday, August 19 at Warrior Field. Last year the West Point Warriors finished with an overall record of 6-4 and in fifth place in Class 5A region seven. The Warriors ended last season on a positive note with a win over Curry by a score of 69-20 after failing to gain a playoff spot. Good Hope and West Point have met a total of 45 times on the football field. The Raiders have a 19-25-1 record against the Warriors.
