Daphne completed the 2023 season with a 6-5 record. With their 4-2 region record and a third place finish in Class 7A region one, the Trojans earned a spot in the playoffs in 2023. Daphne's season came to an end in the first round of the playoffs when they fell to Enterprise by a score of 63-28. Since 2010, Daphne has gone a combined 106-53. Their 66.7% winning percentage ranks 7th in Class 7A over the past fourteen seasons. Over the past 25 seasons, Daphne has finished a combined 219-85. Their 72.0% winning percentage ranks 5th in Class 7A and 29th in the AHSAA. The Trojans have been successful on the football field with twenty-two winning seasons during this time. Graduated All-State Players: Daphne lost 7A All-State running back Nick Clark to graduation. He was named to the honorable mention team last season. Also graduating was teammate defensive lineman Tyler Durant. Head Coach: The Trojans are led by head coach Kenny King who is entering his ninth season at the helm. He has compiled a record of 52-35 over the past eight seasons at Daphne. Under his direction the Trojans have qualified for the playoffs a total of six times. They have not won a region crown with Coach King. Season Outlook: The Daphne Trojans will play in Class 7A region one during the 2024 season.
