There was some improvement as they scored more points and allowed fewer than the previous season. The Tigers have a good shot at one of the last two playoff slots in region eight this season. Players to Watch in 2024: RB Jaxon Vinson will be back after rushing for 1,359 yards and 19 TDs last season. Returning Starters: WR/CB Brayden Tabbs Season Opener: The Tigers open the 2024 season on the road against non-region opponent Lamar County on Friday, August 30 at George Bell Stadium. Last year the Lamar County Bulldogs finished with an overall record of 7-4 and in fourth place in Class 2A region five. The Bulldogs lost in the first round of the Class 2A playoffs to Tanner by a score of 64-55. Red Bay and Lamar County have met a total of 10 times on the football field.
