Luverne completed the 2021 season with a 9-2 record. With their 5-1 region record and a second place finish in Class 2A region three, the Tigers earned a spot in the playoffs in 2021. Luverne reached the second round of the playoffs before falling to Lanett by a score of 33-0. The defense was very stingy last season as Luverne ranked 10th in the AHSAA.
