Theodore completed the 2017 season with a 6-5 record. With their 4-4 region record and a fourth place finish in Class 7A region one, the Bobcats earned a spot in the playoffs in 2017. Theodore's season came to an end in the first round of the playoffs when they fell to Central Phenix City by a score of 42-13. The defense was very stingy last season as Theodore ranked 52nd in the AHSAA. The defense allowed only 14.9 points a game. Since 2010, Theodore has gone a combined 33-48. Their 41.0% winning percentage ranks 25th in Class 7A over the past eight seasons. Over the past 25 seasons, Theodore has managed to compile a record of 147-116. Their 56.0% winning percentage ranks 17th in Class 7A and 139th in the AHSAA. The Bobcats are led by head coach Eric Collier who is entering his sixth season at the helm. He has compiled a record of 22-30 over the past five seasons at Theodore. Under his direction the Bobcats have qualified for the playoffs a total of two times. The Bobcats open the 2018 season on the road against non-region opponent Daphne on Friday, August 24 at Jubilee Stadium. Last year the Daphne Trojans finished with an overall record of 8-3 and in second place in Class 6A region one. The Trojans lost in the first round of the Class 6A playoffs to Opelika by a score of 15-5. Theodore and Daphne have met a total of 13 times on the football field. The Bobcats have a 5-8-0 record against the Trojans. They last met in 2011 with Daphne winning by a score of 41-20. Theodore returns 7A All-State defensive back Kameron Brown.
